About & Contact

I am just your average daydreamin’, soul searchin’, deep thinkin’, coffee lovin’, 20 somethin’ writer. I am simultaneously a morning person and a night owl, who would enjoy cat naps, but I have a toddler so the thought of that is almost laughable.

In my lifetime I have moved over 20 times (way more than that actually- I just stopped counting there,) gone to FOUR different colleges (graduated from zero,) got married to the love of my life at the age of 19, had my beautiful son at age 21,  and dabbled in a number of things including but not limited to: painting, human resourcing, the food industry, the medical field, entrepreneurship, social services, the coffee biz, hospitality, management, and personal training.

The only constant things in my life have been my momma, sisters, brother, grandma and writing.  As a little girl for every occasion-and sometimes for no occasion at all- my grandma always bought me journals.  And I took the liberty of filling them up! From the time I was 12 to the time I was 17 I had filled upwards of 10 journals. In them I wrote about my chaotic life, fights with my sisters, poems, songs, plans for my future, and ideas on how I could change the world.  Recently, I have decided to take my platform to the internet.

I believe that we as human beings are capable of anything.  I believe in the power of prayer, as well as the power of a double espresso with 1/4 cup of sugar. I am inspired by those who give freely, never give up on their passions, and those who attempt to make this world a better place. I am everyone’s friend and strive to operate from a place of love rather than fear.  The phrase ‘loud intentions’ to me, means gearing my thoughts, actions, and goals toward something much bigger than myself.  I believe in the law of attraction and it has worked in very mysterious ways in my life.  And through my stories and journalism I would love to inspire and teach others about the power of believing in themselves, and show through example how living life with an attitude of gratitude can have an extraordinary impact on the overall lifestyle they live. I have loud intentions for myself, my family, and my contributions to the world.
